A letter from our Founder & Editor, Jason Faulkenburg:
After much consideration and internal conversation I have made the difficult decision to put Ash Quarterly Magazine on a hiatus. For those that do not know, I recently made the decision to join the local Police Department as a Police Officer. This was something I have wanted to do for a long time and felt that this was the time in my life to follow that dream. My new role as a Police Officer has taken a significant portion of my time and energy and I am unable to put in the time that our magazine deserves at this time. I have not been able to be as engaged in current news and press releases as I need to be and I will not be able to attend the PCA Trade Show this year which is a critical part of our business. For those reasons, I have to put the magazine on hiatus. I use the word hiatus as we are looking at what Ash Quarterly could look like in the future. With the magazine going on hiatus, we are also putting a hold on the Reviewer Packs as well. All of January's packs were packaged and will be shipping tomorrow morning which will be our last shipment of Reviewer Packs for now. Any recurring subscriptions will be canceled today to fulfill and bring current all subscribers. We did include a special cigar to honor the last Reviewer Pack we may send. We will still have Mystery Packs, Starter Kits, Journals, and other non-recurring items available with some fantastic deals as we navigate what the future holds for Ash Quarterly. I want to thank each of you for your support and friendship and I look forward to our next chapter!
